Roksanda Ilincic studied architecture and design at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, before coming to study at Central Saint Martins in London in 1999, where she earned her master's degree in Womenswear.
She has been showing her collections on the London Fashion Week schedule since 2005, later adding swimwear and blossom, a childrenswear line, to the ready-to-wear offering. Ilincic's signature take on shape and her bold use of colour has fast become a go-to for women who are after effortless day and evening wear, with an unmistakably modern approach to luxury fashion.

Men Collections AW14 | Skirt-ing in London. Still in line with our first report on gender blurring on the London runway, we observe a consolidation of the skirt trend in men's collections. Whether the skirt movement is represented by a statement circle skirt as in MAN (Topman + Fashion East), a mini pleated skirt by Katie Eary o a more subtle half-skirt, it's definitely growing stronger season after season. Some others like KTZ or Agi and Sam showcased long shirts and oversized sweater and play on the superposition of layers to soften the trend.

London Men Collections AW14 | Gender Blurring - London Menswear shows kicked off two days ago and one of the most striking trend is undoubtly the blurring of gender. J.W Anderson being the master at playing with gender makes a strong statement showing capri pants and hyper-floral prints paired with heeled platform brogues.
J.W. Anderson is not the only one to add feminine ingredients to the men's wardrobe, Astrid Andersen included icy blue satin and glittering lace to her manly silhouettes. Alexander McQueen soften the dark atmosphere of the collection with feathers, kilts over trousers, pink tartan and oversized fluffy cardigans.

HAIDER ACKERMANN Spring-Summer 2014 | Womenswear - Paris. "Handsome women" was the introduction of Haider Ackermann's Spring 2014 collection. Once more, we totally fell in love with the work of our favourite discrete rising star. This time, the rocky edge of the outfits and styling was adroitly mixed with delicate fabrics such as silk and tulle.
The founding principle of the collection seemed based on tailored jackets and cigarette or skinny pants, brilliantly interacting with long tulle dresses and subtle layering. Sapphire, bronze and purple metallic shades were from time to time interrupted by a brushstroke of white.

London Fashion Week SS2013 | Intense is the word. London definitely kept up to its reputation of being the most creative and alternative of the big four fashion weeks. Especially after New York where, except for Marc Jacobs, the shows proved quite dull... Unlike the American proposals that mainly showed minimal and sporty silhouettes, London designers opted for much more opulent and embellished outfits.
Christopher Kane confirmed his ascent as one of the strongest designer of the moment in London and Mary Katrantzou proposed an outstanding shoe-inspired collection.
Among the younger designers of London fashion scene, Simone Rocha, J.W Anderson and Meadham Kirchoff have been acclaimed by the critics and we couldn't resist adding Ashish (oh! yes we loved the glittery shopping bags!) and Erdem to that list of talents.
