Lou Dalton is a figure of the British menswear scene as she founded her eponymous label in 2005. Lou left school at 16 to take up an apprenticeship in bespoke tailoring. After which she returned to education, culminating in graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1998.
For this collection Lou Dalton AW2017, Dalton chooses to work on colour blocks and presents everyday cool outfits sometimes either all-white or all-denim contrasting with an intense coloured touch. She worked in collaboration with John Booth, painter and ceramicist, to embellish special items with bright orange, lemon or even pink. The collection’s strengths: loose fits, scarves and comfy jumpsuits.
