Pyer Moss is a luxury Menswear label founded in 2013 in New York by Kerby Jean-Raymond. Born and raised in New York City, Kerby began his career in 2001 while still attending The High School of Fashion Industries in Manhattan. At a very early age, the designer gains experience at Kay Unger and Marchesa. In 2014, Kerby won the coveted FGI Rising Star Award in the menswear category for Pyer Moss and was also a finalist in the debut DHL Exported Prize presented by IMG Worldwide. In 2015, Kerby was named on Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
Pyer Moss’s fall line 2017 presented in New Work was inspired by old photos of his Haitian immigrant father, which resonate like a political statement. The designer said he was telling his story through fashion and Fall was part one entitled “My Father as I Remember From 1980-1999. ». The luxury sportswear collection focus on reinventing old-school aesthetics from the 80’s that includes: effortless oversize volumes, stripes, velvet, bombers, joggers and printed loose T-shirts.
