The summer fashion week season is back with, among other thngs, the Milan Men's Fashion Week which took place from the 18th to the 21st of June.
One of our favourite shows was Salvatore Ferragamo's, the Fashion House remained faithful to its tradition of sobriety and good taste.
The new men of the famous Italian House is charismatic and seductive with an intense and profound expression as if he was directly coming from a sepia portrait. His hair is properly combed backwards, he wears his shirt like a tunic and his eyes are protected by vintage sunglasses.
His "uniform", designed with basic but unique elements is what he usually wears to go to work. It is made up of a double-breasted tailor-made suit, of a shirt in the same material, of a matt crocheted tie and of a high-waisted pleated pants from the 30s. His travelling bag is really a faded leather or a canva briefcase with leather details.
He is wearing on his feet the mythical pair of Derbys designed with two different materials and adorned with light colour backstitches.
In short, Ferragamo takes us on a journey through an art that reflects culture and personality. He is laying before us a new stylish composition that mixes suggestions from yesterday together with the elegance of today with an ineffable simplicity.
